Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- strong attention to detail

Job Duties
- Prepares station with under-liners, doilies, gravy boats, ramekins, serving spoons, pizza stands, condiments and sauces that accompany and complete the presentation of all dishes offered on the menu
- keeps trays clean and lined with unsoiled linen
- carefully assembles food order for delivery by reading dupe thoroughly and matching food items to the table order to be filled
- carefully checks all dupes for special instructions and makes sure that those directives are completed, e.g. sauce on side, allergies etc.
- makes sure that garnishes are properly placed on appropriate dishes such as lemon on fish dishes
- assists expediter in wiping clean all plates before delivery
- pages servers to alert them to either pick up their own food or to be aware that their tables are about to be served
- calls food orders to the line when expediter is not available
- follows all directions given by the chef in regards to all food item service
- assists servers in carrying food to the correct station and the correct table
- serves food to guests always serving from the appropriate side with open armed service, never leaving food unattended at a table
- always serves food to the proper guest position never auctioning food
- communicates to servers and bartenders all 86’d items or counted down items as directed by the chef
- keeps line stocked and clean before, during and after service
- communicates all significant matters and assist in proper corrective action
- maintain a respectful and cooperative working relationship with all other employees
- supports bus staff and service staff when not running food
