- previous restaurant banquet or hotel food and beverage experience preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
- basic English communication skills bilingual skills a plus
- experience in a high-volume or convention hotel environment preferred
Job Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to dining areas and service stations quickly and accurately
- ensure food is presented according to Hyatt standards including proper garnishing plate cleanliness and temperature control
- communicate effectively with kitchen staff servers and supervisors regarding order status and special requests
- assist in setting up and breaking down service stations buffets and banquet areas as needed
- support servers by replenishing bread condiments water and service items during service
- maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
- handle food with care and follow all safety and sanitation standards
- respond courteously to guest requests and escalate concerns to supervisors when appropriate
- follow Hyatt brand service standards grooming guidelines and safety procedures
