Job Requirements

  • High school completion or equivalent
  • one to three years food service experience preferred
  • safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
  • california rbs certification required
  • ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • ability to stand and walk for up to four hours
  • ability to lift trays weighing up to 30 lbs occasionally
  • ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs frequently
  • manual dexterity
  • good communication skills
  • ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • regular attendance and punctuality
  • compliance with resort rules and regulations
  • willingness to work varying schedules based on business needs

Job Qualifications

  • High school completion or equivalent
  • one to three years food service experience preferred
  • safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
  • california rbs certification required
  • good communication skills both verbal and written
  • basic computational ability
  • knowledge of table and bar service
  • knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
  • ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation
  • must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
  • knowledge of and ability to operate all outlet equipment including coffee maker and cash terminals
  • knowledge of federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations

Job Duties

  • Deliver food to guests dining in restaurant
  • ensure guest satisfaction with their food
  • ensure serve corridor safety by transporting all equipment in the proper manner
  • replenishes guest water
  • makes and pours coffee
  • clears tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware
  • cleans tables, chairs and floor area
  • resets table quickly
  • restocks busing stations regularly polishing silverware, folding napkins, and stocking with china, glassware, ice and clearing trays
  • assists service team as necessary to meet and exceed guest expectations
  • be responsible for handling of all equipment and linens
  • ensure that all spills and breakage are attended to immediately and proper safety procedures are followed
  • responsible for the proper handling of all food and equipment
  • all other duties assigned by restaurant managers and supervisors
