Job Requirements

High school completion or an equivalent level of education
one to three years of food service experience preferred
Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification required
ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
ability to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers and kitchens
ability to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 pounds occasionally
ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds frequently
must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
regular attendance and punctuality
ability to communicate effectively
knowledge of table and bar service
ability to operate restaurant equipment
compliance with safety and resort regulations

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
one to three years food service experience preferred
Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification required
good communication skills both verbal and written
basic computational ability
knowledge of table and bar service
knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation
ability to operate all equipment related to the outlet including coffee maker and cash terminals
knowledge of federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations

Job Duties

Deliver food to guests dining in restaurant
ensure guest satisfaction with their food
ensure serve corridor safety by transporting all equipment in the proper manner
replenish guest water
make and pour coffee
clear tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware
clean tables, chairs and floor area
reset table quickly
restock busing stations regularly polishing silverware, folding napkins, and stocking with china, glassware, ice and clearing trays
assist service team as necessary to meet and exceed guest expectations
be responsible for handling of all equipment and linens
ensure that all spills and breakage are attended to immediately and proper safety procedures are followed
responsible for the proper handling of all food and equipment
perform all other duties assigned by Restaurant Managers and Supervisors
