Job Requirements
- High school completion or equivalent
- One to three years food service experience preferred
- Safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
- California RBS certification
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
- Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift trays of food or items weighing up to 30 lbs occasionally
- Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs frequently
- Must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Regular attendance in conformity with hospitality standards
- Willingness to work varying schedules
- Ability to follow safety procedures promptly
Job Qualifications
- High school completion or an equivalent level of education
- One to three years food service experience preferred
- Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required
- California RBS certification
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computational ability
- Knowledge of table and bar service
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
- Ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation
Job Duties
- Deliver food to guests dining in restaurant
- Ensure guest satisfaction with their food
- Ensure serve corridor safety by transporting all equipment in the proper manner
- Replenishes guest water
- makes and pours coffee
- Clears tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware
- Cleans tables, chairs and floor area
- Resets table quickly
- Restocks busing stations regularly polishing silverware, folding napkins, and stocking with China, glassware, ice and clearing trays
- Assists service team as necessary to meet and exceed guest expectations
- Be responsible for handling of all equipment and linens
- Ensure that all spills and breakage are attended to immediately and proper safety procedures are followed
- Responsible for the proper handling of all food and equipment
- All other duties assigned by Restaurant Managers and Supervisors
