Job Duties
- assist servers in delivering food to guests in a timely and accurate manner
- clear tables and ensure that they are clean and ready for the next guest
- maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area including floors chairs and table settings
- work collaboratively with all team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service
- prepare dining room for patrons by cleaning setting decorations condiments napkins service plates and utensils
- protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
- maintain menu presentation by keeping menus clean and in good condition
- maintain table setting by removing courses as completed replenishing utensils being alert to patron spills or other special needs
- support wait staff by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands trash containers liners and bus stations
- close dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables sweeping and or vacuuming floors removing trash and recyclables from the facility
- update job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities
- highly skilled in providing food to the guests in an efficient and accurate manner
- known for anticipating guests needs and dealing with them accordingly
- excellent communication and guest service skills
- proven record of handling stress in a fast-paced work environment
- demonstrated ability to multi task
- transfer food items to and from kitchen
