Job Duties

  • assist servers in delivering food to guests in a timely and accurate manner
  • clear tables and ensure that they are clean and ready for the next guest
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area including floors chairs and table settings
  • work collaboratively with all team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • prepare dining room for patrons by cleaning setting decorations condiments napkins service plates and utensils
  • protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
  • maintain menu presentation by keeping menus clean and in good condition
  • maintain table setting by removing courses as completed replenishing utensils being alert to patron spills or other special needs
  • support wait staff by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands trash containers liners and bus stations
  • close dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables sweeping and or vacuuming floors removing trash and recyclables from the facility
  • update job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities
  • highly skilled in providing food to the guests in an efficient and accurate manner
  • known for anticipating guests needs and dealing with them accordingly
  • excellent communication and guest service skills
  • proven record of handling stress in a fast-paced work environment
  • demonstrated ability to multi task
  • transfer food items to and from kitchen
