Job Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Transports patients using excellent customer service skills
- Communicates to the patient regarding destination, needs for blankets, bumps going on/off the elevator, elevator delays
- Wear assigned patient transport uniform neatly with identification card visible
- Check system periodically during low volume for pending calls
- Use delay flags as required and complete transports at the destination
- Document all transport data using transporter log sheet including double identification and SSSI protocols
- Appropriately perform SSSI equipment handling and double identification during transport
