Job Requirements
- Ability to provide or complete a CA food handler certification and renew as necessary
- general restaurant knowledge and relevant restaurant experience
- must be able to lift and move 50 pounds
- must be able to carry at least three plates at once
- requires standing more than 90 percent of time during work shift
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- knowledge of food and wine
- ability to provide friendly and responsible service
- effective communication skills
- physical ability to carry multiple plates and lift up to 50 pounds
- knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to food handling
- California Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain
Job Duties
- Working in tandem with the kitchen to expedite food
- delivering food to guests and communicating menu items
- assisting in maintaining server and busser stations
- carrying multiple food plates to tables
- ensuring timely and professional food delivery
- maintaining clear communication with kitchen and serving staff
- supporting a clean and organized dining environment
