Job Requirements

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler card (CA)
  • must possess or be able to obtain California responsible beverage service (RBS) permit
  • stand/walk for extended periods (6-10 hours)
  • frequent pushing/pulling carts and climbing stairs/elevators
  • lift and carry up to 40 lbs frequently
  • push/pull up to 100 lbs on wheeled carts with assistance
  • work all event days as scheduled, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours

  • Service-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • strong time management
  • able to prioritize multiple runs in a fast-paced environment
  • working knowledge of menu items and ingredients
  • willing to learn rotating/seasonal offerings
  • comfort with basic technology (radios, tablets)
  • familiarity with POS/ticket systems (training provided)
  • attention to detail for counts, labels, temperatures, and presentation standards
  • ability to adapt to changing event needs and guest requests professionally
  • prior hospitality/restaurant, catering, stadium/arena, runner, expediter, or barback experience
  • basic inventory/stocking experience a plus

Job Duties

  • Pick up food and beverage from kitchen/pantry and deliver to suites and in-seat guests with urgency and accuracy
  • verify order contents against BEOs/POS tickets
  • communicate substitutions or delays to suite server/host
  • maintain product integrity (temps, garnishes, presentation) and follow food safety/sanitation guidelines at all times
  • execute suite, pantry, and service area set-up/breakdown per standards and within timelines
  • maintain clean, organized prep, service, and back-of-house areas
  • manage trash/compost/recycling as assigned
  • replenish disposables, condiments, ice, and smallwares
  • restock during service and post-event
  • complete post-event inventories, transfers, and basic product counts
  • report variances
  • operate and care for equipment properly (carts, warmers, hot boxes, ice wells, radios)
  • follow responsible alcohol service policies
  • escalate concerns to leadership
  • adhere to appearance/uniform standards
  • act with professionalism and a strong sense of urgency
  • provide proactive support to teammates and assist with other duties as assigned
