Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- minimum 6 months experience in hotels, banquets, or events
- excellent communication skills

- ability to maintain calm and use good judgment under pressure
- knowledge of food safety standards
- TIPS certification required
- ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Welcome and seat guests upon arrival to food and beverage restaurants and outlets
- seat guests according to rotation and service levels
- present menus and share knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- complete opening duties including checking quality and quantity of food and beverage stock using checklist
- set up the station and all condiments, supplies, food and beverages according to service standards
- ensure sufficient supply of all supplies and tools
- maintain cleanliness and condition of host stand and assigned station
- set up side stations with supplies and equipment
- assist guests with to-go orders and retail purchases
- stock service stations
- anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly
- monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas
- clean and wipe down food and beverage areas after guest departs
- complete closing duties and report to supervisor or manager on duty
- maintain TIPS and Food Safety certification
- follow 4 Keys service standards, SOPs, and safety standards
- comply with all policies and procedures and strive to improve operations
- follow safety and security procedures
- work cohesively with co-workers and departments
- adhere to attendance and reliability standards
- perform all additional duties assigned by management
