Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Demonstrated intermediate to advanced cooking skills
- Ability to achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
- Ability to complete Culinary Academy within 12 months
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Proficiency in standard office equipment and computer skills
- Basic math competency
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Adherence to personal protective equipment and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Intermediate to advanced cooking skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Preferred supervisory experience
- Ability to achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
- Ability to complete Culinary Academy within 12 months
- Proficient in use of standard office equipment and basic computer skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions
- Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information
- Professional interaction with guests and team members including public speaking
- Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform various demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Oversee and assist in the creation of all food and menu items prepared in the venue
- Lead the culinary team to hold team members accountable for their performance and ensure food quality
- Communicate departmental objectives to ensure consistency and commitment to company policies
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment adhering to sanitation procedures
- Assist in monthly inventory and stock rotation
- Contribute to menu development including recipes, cost determination, and publishing new specifications
- Train, test, and coach culinary team members
- Work at other venues as assigned based on business needs
- Ensure compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
