Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous food quality experience preferred
- Ability to work the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform inspections and audits
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to follow GMP and food safety protocols
- Willingness to train others
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food quality preferred
- Knowledge of food safety systems such as SQF and HACCP
- Ability to conduct audits and inspections effectively
- Strong communication and training skills
- Ability to work second shift hours and weekends off
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities
Job Duties
- Conduct inspections at production lines to verify food safety and quality
- Assist with daily and weekly scheduling of FSQA and sanitation tasks
- Verify ingredient accuracy against recipes
- Monitor cook and chill temperature limits and document compliance
- Inspect finished products, ensuring labeling accuracy and safety standards such as metal detection and oxygen analysis
- Conduct audits of production areas and prerequisite sanitation programs
- Train new employees on food safety and quality practices
- Escalate food safety and quality deviations to leadership promptly
- Assist with product disposition as needed
- Support non-competitive production, sanitation, and safety duties such as floor sweeping and moving products
- Enforce GMP compliance and food defense protocols
- Perform food safety record verifications and environmental monitoring
