Job Description

As a roving store worker, the role is designed to support patrons and assist with general craft and trades duties at a level not exceeding a HPP 2 assignment. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to operate a cash register and other sales related equipment
- basic knowledge of food preparation procedures
- ability to follow set procedures when operating kitchen equipment
- good interpersonal skills for customer interaction
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- capability to handle cash and complete related documentation
- willingness to work in multiple facility locations
- physical ability to stock and move merchandise
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- operate an oven roller grill or other kitchen equipment in a situation where set procedures are followed and where cooking skills are not involved
- serve and prepare heat and eat items including pizza hot dogs snack items and related condiments or complimentary foods
- ensure heat and eat items are properly heated or cooled as appropriate
- maintain required level of sanitation and cleanliness of work area
- maintain required documentation check returned inventory prepare daily cash report and other related documentation
- take merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor and display and replenish merchandise in a neat and presentable fashion in accordance with instructions
- ring sales on cash register or other sales related equipment and make change collect and verify cash credit cards checks enter new accounts sales transactions refunds and other related transactions
- assist in ensuring optimum stock availability by taking periodic stock counts advising management of slow moving out of stock defective and damaged merchandise
- resolve customer complaints at the lowest level and inform management of barriers to meeting the optimal customer experience
- stock appropriate food or retail supplies prior to selling period and replenish food beverage or retail items as required
- assist in maintaining retail shelf labels perform random price verification and initiate necessary corrective action
- provide high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service greet each customer upon contact or line of sight keep their needs foremost and create a welcoming environment actively engage and build trust relationship with the customer to deliver a personalized customer experience
- perform other related duties as assigned
- actively communicate or promote the benefits of the military star credit card to customers to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty
