Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in retail or food service preferred
- ability to follow set procedures and safety guidelines
- basic proficiency in operating cash registers and kitchen equipment
- good communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capability to handle cash and transaction processing
- willingness to work flexible hours including shifts
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- perform patron support and craft and trades duties that are not higher or equivalent to a HPP 2
- prepare and serve simple foods and beverages
- operate cash register or other sales related equipment
- assess customer needs by actively listening and providing solutions
- operate kitchen equipment such as an oven or roller grill following set procedures
- serve and prepare heat and eat items including pizza, hot dogs, and snack items
- ensure heat and eat items are properly heated or cooled
- maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work area
- maintain required documentation including daily cash reports and inventory checks
- take merchandise from stockroom to sales floor
- display and replenish merchandise neatly
- ring sales and make change
- collect and verify cash, credit cards, and checks
- enter new accounts, sales transactions, refunds, and other related transactions
- assist in stock availability by taking stock counts and advising management of inventory status
- resolve customer complaints at the lowest level and inform management as needed
- stock food or retail supplies and maintain shelf labels
- perform price verification and corrective actions
- provide high level customer service by greeting customers and creating a welcoming environment
- communicate and promote Military Star credit card benefits
- perform other related duties as assigned
