Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Supervision training or management training required
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Meet district vehicle insurance qualifications for driving coverage
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Supervisory or management training
- Knowledge of large quantity food preparation and health department sanitation standards preferred
- Certification by School Nutrition Association beneficial
- Strong self-direction and supervisory skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage financial and operational aspects of nutrition services
Job Duties
- Oversee and serve students and adult customers maintaining orderly and attractive foodservice lines and spaces
- Perform and supervise activities related to safe and appropriate food preparation per regulations
- Ensure meals are served and accounted for per USDA regulations
- Manage back-of-house responsibilities including order placement inventory control food production reporting point of sale management and time clock oversight
- Maintain kitchen productivity with proper staffing and adherence to labor guidelines
- Interview train evaluate and supervise kitchen employees
- Schedule and adjust employee hours and address conflict to ensure a positive work environment
- Maintain open communication with Area Supervisor and serve as a positive resource for nutrition programs
- Attend departmental meetings and training events
