Job Requirements
- Full-time availability between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays and weekends
- solid work history with at least 1 year experience in merchandising or route sales
- ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach and perform frequent physical activities
- pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- obtain a DOT medical card
- possess clean driving record and provide current driving abstract
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver bulky racks
- uphold Franz core values
- union position with Teamsters Local 117
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 or more years of experience in a similar merchandising and/or route sales position
- experience in bread, bakery, or food industry is a plus
- proven history of reliability, safety, and positivity
- strong organizational skills
- effective communication abilities
Job Duties
- Responsible for maintaining bakery products in assigned stores including stocking shelves
- rotating outdated products to ensure freshness
- facing products to present bakery items pleasingly for consumers
- maintaining a neat and orderly appearance of bakery products
- drive company vehicle to deliver product to customer locations
- load and unload product in company issued vehicle including pushing and pulling racks and trays of bakery products
- perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
