Job Requirements
- This is a full-time position
- availability to work between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays and weekends
- solid work history
- ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach and perform frequent handling activities
- ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- ability to obtain a DOT medical card
- clean driving record
- ability to provide current driving abstract if called for an interview
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
- ability to maneuver large bulky racks
- highly organized and fast-paced
- must be a union position with Teamsters Local 117
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in a similar merchandising or route sales position
- experience in bread, bakery, or food industry a plus
- proven work history of being reliable, safe and positive
- ability to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals inside and outside the organization
- ability to uphold Franz core values
Job Duties
- Responsible for maintaining bakery products in assigned stores
- stocking shelves
- rotating outdated products to ensure freshness
- facing products to present bakery items in a pleasing manner
- maintaining a neat and orderly appearance to all assigned bakery products
- drive company vehicle to deliver product to customer locations
- responsible for loading and unloading product in company issued vehicle
- pushing and pulling racks and trays of bakery products
- additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
