Job Requirements
- Must be available to work full-time between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays and weekends
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large bulky racks
- must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- must obtain DOT medical card
- must provide current driving abstract if called for interview
- must uphold Franz core values
- must be reliable, safe, and highly organized
- must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- must have a solid work history
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 1 year experience in merchandising or route sales
- experience in bread, bakery, or food industry preferred
- ability to handle physical demands of the job including bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and reaching
- strong organizational skills
- reliable and positive work history
- ability to communicate with diverse individuals
- valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Job Duties
- Responsible for maintaining bakery products in assigned stores including stocking shelves, rotating outdated products to ensure freshness, facing products to present bakery items attractively, and maintaining neat and orderly appearance
- drive company vehicle to deliver products to customer locations
- load and unload products in company vehicle including pushing and pulling racks and trays of bakery products
- communicate effectively with store personnel and internal staff
- adhere to safety and sanitation standards
- perform additional duties or responsibilities as assigned
