Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
- Valid state driver’s license and documented safe driving record
- Meet fleet insurance guidelines
- Adhere to federal, state, and local rules regarding CMV operation
- Complete company paid 4-week RSR training
- Ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required
Job Qualifications
- Sales experience
- Delivery driver experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Effective communication and planning skills
- Prior experience in direct store delivery preferred
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to industry demands
Job Duties
- Order, sales, and delivery of fresh baked products
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance and uniform as required
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Check delivery vehicle daily and keep accurate records
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Fill out daily drivers' logs, time logs, and hours of service
- Expand sales by increasing shelf space and creating in-store promotions
- Maximize product shelf life through proper rotation
- Work flexible hours including early morning starts and varying days
- Use data and marketing plans to enhance customer growth and satisfaction
- Adapt to customer service windows and non-traditional business hours
- Work independently and as part of a team within a DSD environment
