Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years
- Must obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
- Valid state driver’s license with documented safe driving record
- Must meet fleet insurance guidelines
- Adherence to federal, state, and local commercial motor vehicle operation rules
- Completion of 4-week company paid training and ability to execute best practices
- Ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
Job Qualifications
- Sales experience
- Delivery driver experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of direct store delivery operations is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Order fresh baked products for assigned delivery route
- Deliver baked goods to customers ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance, often wearing a uniform
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate delivery and driver logs
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Expand sales by increasing shelf space and setting up in-store promotions
- Rotate products to maximize shelf life
- Utilize sales data and marketing plans to drive customer growth
- Work within designated customer service windows, including early morning shifts
- Adapt work schedule as needed to meet delivery demands
- Participate in company paid training and execute best practices from training
