Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card
- ability to climb push pull bend stoop and kneel for extended periods
- perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
- consistent with US Department of Transportation regulations the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public understand highway signs respond to inquiries and make reports
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related experience in direct sales distribution preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- proficiency in basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting
- ability to maintain accurate inventory counts and settlements
- knowledge of safe driving practices and compliance with DOT regulations
Job Duties
- Merchandise stock and ensure the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays
- drive sales by securing new display space and setting up incremental displays
- use sales data to inform store-level strategies
- follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships
- ensure the execution of promotions
- introduce new products and services to existing and new customers
- conduct daily route settlement procedures including accounting for products invoices and cash
- safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs
- submit required documentation paperwork and deposits on time
