Job Requirements

  • Ability to develop strong relationships and provide a high level of customer service
  • 1+ years’ experience in retail, sales, or a field based supervisor role
  • Personal access to functional tools such as smartphone or smart pad and computer
  • Communicate timely with management through phone or e-mail
  • Be able to lift up to 35lbs, walk, stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time
  • Access to reliable and insured vehicle with current and valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • One or more years’ experience in retail, sales, or a field-based supervisor role
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and provide high-level customer service
  • Experience with invoicing and payment collection
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills for timely interaction with management
  • Basic computer skills and use of smartphones or smart pads for communication and reporting
  • Knowledge of safety and maintenance procedures for commercial vehicles

Job Duties

  • Sales and servicing accounts on a daily, weekly or bi-weekly basis to ensure ample, fresh product is stocked for all customers
  • Call on established customers along the route and promote increased sales and new products
  • Greet store attendants, owners, department managers, or purchasing authorities
  • Sell Ole products to stores that do not currently carry them by highlighting successful sales elsewhere
  • Negotiate product placement and additional shelf space to maximize sales
  • Rotate and restock products to maintain freshness and prevent expirations
  • Accurately issue invoices and credit memos while verifying quantities and product codes
  • Count truck inventory and verify product transfers
  • Complete settle-up sheets and expense reports accurately
  • Collect payments from cash, charge, and delinquent accounts
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and required driving records complying with DOT regulations
  • Perform daily vehicle maintenance including fueling and submitting trucks for scheduled maintenance
  • Report all accidents promptly and complete necessary documentation
