Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ability to drive and maneuver a 26' bobtail truck
- physical ability to load and unload linen up to 50 lbs daily
- strong sales and customer service skills
- ability to pass drug screening and physical examination
- reliable transportation to and from assigned routes
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- willingness to work full-time with flexibility for route assignments
Job Qualifications
- Must have sales and customer service experience
- must have a clean driver's license
- must be able to drive a 26' bobtail truck
- must be comfortable loading/unloading truck with up to 50 lbs of linen daily
- must pass drug tests and clinic physical
Job Duties
- Maintains a professional appearance in compliance with company standards
- calls on prospective customers to solicit new business
- informs regular customers of new products or services
- drives truck to deliver laundry and/or uniforms to customer places of business
- collects or picks up rejected or unsold laundry and/or uniforms and loads/unloads truck
- develops and maintains customer goodwill by providing assistance and demonstrating interest
- conducts business in a professional manner to minimize customer complaints and handles complaints with supervisor involvement if necessary
- listens to and resolves service complaints
- maintains inventory and follows company policies on inventory control
- collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer invoices
- issues or obtains customer signatures on invoices for pickup or delivery
- records delivery and inventory information on daily invoices
- cleans inside the truck and performs routine maintenance
- attends training and service department meetings
