Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • ability to drive and maneuver a 26' bobtail truck
  • physical ability to load and unload linen up to 50 lbs daily
  • strong sales and customer service skills
  • ability to pass drug screening and physical examination
  • reliable transportation to and from assigned routes
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work full-time with flexibility for route assignments

Job Qualifications

  • Must have sales and customer service experience
  • must have a clean driver's license
  • must be able to drive a 26' bobtail truck
  • must be comfortable loading/unloading truck with up to 50 lbs of linen daily
  • must pass drug tests and clinic physical

Job Duties

  • Maintains a professional appearance in compliance with company standards
  • calls on prospective customers to solicit new business
  • informs regular customers of new products or services
  • drives truck to deliver laundry and/or uniforms to customer places of business
  • collects or picks up rejected or unsold laundry and/or uniforms and loads/unloads truck
  • develops and maintains customer goodwill by providing assistance and demonstrating interest
  • conducts business in a professional manner to minimize customer complaints and handles complaints with supervisor involvement if necessary
  • listens to and resolves service complaints
  • maintains inventory and follows company policies on inventory control
  • collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer invoices
  • issues or obtains customer signatures on invoices for pickup or delivery
  • records delivery and inventory information on daily invoices
  • cleans inside the truck and performs routine maintenance
  • attends training and service department meetings
