Job Requirements
- Prior route driving experience preferred
- Able to work Monday through Friday with some Saturdays
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs consistently
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good driving record
- Ability to operate company vehicle safely
- Willingness to maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform inspections
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred 1-2 years customer service experience or minimum 1 year related experience
- Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic mechanical skills for minor machine adjustments
- Proficient with handheld computer or inventory management technology
- Reliable and customer service oriented
Job Duties
- Ensures truck is properly loaded with required products prior to route start
- Maintains proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines
- Loads and unloads products using a hand cart
- Performs product rotation to ensure freshness
- Provides excellent client and customer service
- Performs cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and equipment
- Conducts minor service and adjustments on machines and reports defects
- Maintains accurate machine product and inventory data via handheld computer
- Informs clients of new products and services
- Resolves service complaints and reports issues to supervisor
- Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays
- Manages receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash, and product
- Conducts inventory reconciliation
- Keeps company vehicle clean and performs pre- and post-trip inspections
- Performs additional duties as assigned
