Job Requirements
- Prior delivery driver experience
- Prior merchandising experience
- Prior customer service experience
- Full-time availability including weekends and holidays
- Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Ability to operate material handling equipment or willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to comply with company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Three years driving experience required
- Preferred one to two years' experience in a customer service position or a minimum of one year of related experience
- Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license ensuring safe operation of company vehicles
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Ability or willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment such as box truck and handcarts
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised 98 percent of the workday
Job Duties
- Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market
- Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance
- Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and related equipment
- Conduct minor service and adjustments on market equipment and report defects as necessary
- Ensure truck is loaded properly with required products before starting route
- Inform clients and customers of new products or services and resolve service complaints
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or distribute sales promotion materials
- Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash, and product
- Conduct inventory reconciliation per district procedures
- Keep company vehicle clean and organized with daily pre and post trip inspections
- Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
