Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have or be qualified to obtain and maintain Class B CDL and Med Card with Airbrake and HAZMAT endorsements
- Valid motor vehicle record meeting company standards
- Ability to lift 80 pounds frequently and maneuver drums over 400 pounds using proper equipment
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as respirator, steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, reflective vest, and hard hat
- Pass pre-employment physical including drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to perform essential physical activities including bending, squatting, climbing, lifting, and twisting regularly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Med Card, Airbrake, and HAZMAT preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate equipment including electronic mobile devices and truck equipment
- Customer-focused with ability to interact effectively with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departments
- Route sales experience preferred
- Ability to plan and optimize work orders to minimize mileage and travel time
Job Duties
- Own your route by managing and growing territory through strong customer relationships
- Deliver essential services such as maintaining parts washing equipment and handling scheduled waste drum pickups
- Drive sales by spotting opportunities, recommending services, and increasing earnings through performance
- Work independently by planning efficient routes, ensuring safety, and representing Crystal Clean professionally
- Promote and adhere to safe work behaviors consistent with company safety guidelines
- Conduct inspections of vehicles and equipment for safe operation
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and maintain compliance with Department of Transportation requirements
