Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver license with a good driving record
- minimum of 3 years route delivery or distribution experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification
- ability to lift frequently up to 50 lbs
- good communication skills
- ability to operate GPS and tablet technology
- ability to perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance
- pass background screening through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- compliance with attendance policy
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver license with no DUI in last 5 years and 0-4 current points
- good communication and customer service skills
- experience with general office equipment and computer systems
- familiarity with GPS and tablet technologies
- minimum 3 years prior route delivery/distribution experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification
Job Duties
- Safe delivery of food items and supplies to customer homes/sites in a timely and accurate manner
- vehicle upkeep and cleanliness
- maintain food safety and handling procedures with compliance to temperature requirements
- report any deficiencies or problems to supervisor promptly
- maintain driver scorecard and other required recordkeeping
- perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain service records
- check vehicle fluid levels and perform general routine inspection of vehicle to ensure all is in working order
- assist with packing and/or storing of food items, components and/or supplies as required
- regular attendance required to meet employer's attendance policy to ensure customer deliveries can be accomplished as scheduled
- other duties as assigned by management
