Job Requirements
- Valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license
- Valid medical examiner’s card
- Hazmat and airbrake certifications
- One year of professional driving experience within last five years or diploma from accredited driving school with minimum one year driving experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Physical ability to lift 25 to 75 pounds routinely and up to greater than 125 pounds with aid of material handling equipment
- Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours and frequently bend
Job Qualifications

- One year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five years and clean driving record
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Physical ability to lift 25 to 75 pounds routinely and up to 125 pounds occasionally with material handling equipment
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Safely load deliver and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations
- Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest obtaining customer signatures for receipt
- Collect empty rejected or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling
- Adhere to all Airgas safety standards and government regulations including DOT EPA FMCSA FDA and OSHA
- Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed
