Job Requirements
- Valid CDL B or Class 3 license
- DOT medical card required
- clean driving record
- ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
- full-time availability Monday through Friday with a 6 am start time
- minimum 21 years of age
- ability to obtain DOT medical certification
- ability to perform physical activities such as stooping, bending and climbing
- experience with safety procedures and standard operating procedures
- proficiency in using POD or tablet scanning devices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum 1-3 years of related delivery or route driving experience
- valid CDL B or Class 3 license
- possession of a DOT medical card
- clean driving record with no excessive speeding tickets
- ability to use handheld devices for scanning products
- familiarity with pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts preferred
- good verbal and written communication skills
- basic mathematical skills
- geographical knowledge of delivery area after training
- ability to work in varying weather conditions
Job Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and lawful manner
- complete pre and post trip checklists daily
- deliver products to customer locations efficiently and timely
- load, unload and secure products to prevent damage
- complete daily routes and all necessary paperwork
- communicate delivery obstacles and customer feedback to supervisory personnel
- support continuous improvement and suggest ideas for delivery process enhancements
