Job Description

Round Lake, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is a premier senior living establishment located in Arden Hills, Minnesota. This vibrant community opened its doors in January 2023 and offers a beautiful, welcoming environment designed to help seniors age magnificently. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food preparation or cooking
  • Ability to follow dietary and sanitary regulations
  • Ability to work part-time including every other weekend rotation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to check menu compliance
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a senior living setting is preferred
  • Ability to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees
  • Advanced computer skills including email use

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures
  • Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils
  • Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy
  • Ensure proper storage for food and supplies
  • Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures
