Job Requirements
- Minimum one year previous experience in a similar position at a Four or Five Diamond Hotel
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
- Ability to write legibly
- Proven ability to motivate a team
- Clear thinker in pressure situations and exercise good judgment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Previous experience in valet at an upscale hotel or resort desirable
Job Duties
- Handle incoming and departing guests by greeting, parking, retrieving cars, and providing luggage assistance ensuring the security of vehicles in valet
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a professional, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with OVIS standards as required by scheduling
- Maintain high standards of appearance and grooming including wearing the proper uniform and nametag while working
- Manage shift checklists and ensure completion with valet team
- Perform internal audits on damage checks
- Audit Forbes standards for department
- Maintain knowledge of scheduled daily activities, daily arrivals and departures, hotel features, services and amenities, and hours of operation for each outlet
- Comply at all times with OVI standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Be available to give directions or order transportation for guests
- Perform other duties as assigned
