Job Requirements

  • Minimum four years of hospitality or guest service experience
  • minimum one year hotel experience
  • luxury or boutique hotel experience preferred
  • minimum one year supervisory or management experience
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • proficient in MS Office and technical learning
  • willingness to work days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays up to 50 hours per week
  • strong self-starter ability
  • verbal and written communication skills with proper follow up
  • strong leadership, organizational, administrative, and time management skills
  • performance driven and hardworking
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance

Job Qualifications

  • adaptable and flexible in learning hotel systems

  • knowledge of financial and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Act as manager on duty with all associated responsibilities
  • oversee all departments in absence of department heads
  • champion training initiatives and hands-on staff development
  • monitor and review daily quality standards
  • create and implement strategies to improve operations and service
  • provide leadership and guidance to guest services
  • manage hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff
  • conduct regular training on room inventory and revenue management
  • develop exceptional customer service skills
  • resolve RoomKey and OTA system issues
  • mentor concierge staff for performance incentives
  • support front desk and concierge operations
  • manage inventory and supply
  • lead staff to meet luxury service standards
  • ensure customer service quality throughout the hotel
  • serve as property manager on duty overseeing operations
  • uphold company policies and integrity
  • maintain exemplary attendance and punctuality
  • foster positive work environment
  • resolve guest and property issues
  • maintain relationships with all departments
  • communicate operational variations
  • maximize ADR and occupancy through room management
  • review financial and activity reports
  • ensure guest and associate safety
  • conduct facility inspection tours
  • comply with loss prevention policies

  • handle guest complaints and issues
