Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of hospitality or guest service experience
- Minimum 1 year of hotel experience
- Luxury or boutique hotel experience strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Office and adaptable in technical learning
- Prior experience with RoomKey PMS, M3, Heartland preferred
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, holidays
- Strong self-starter skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership, organizational, administrative, time management skills
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years hospitality or guest service experience
- At least 1 year hotel experience required
- Luxury or boutique hotel experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory or management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and hotel software systems
- Familiarity with RoomKey PMS, M3, and Heartland preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle guest service issues professionally
Job Duties
- Act as manager on duty for the hotels with all associated responsibilities
- Oversee the successful operation of all departments in absence of department heads
- Provide leadership and guidance to Guest Services departments
- Champion training initiatives and conduct ongoing staff trainings
- Monitor and review daily quality standards across all areas
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operations and service
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and training processes
- Maximize ADR and occupancy by monitoring room flow and availability
- Conduct regular property inspection tours for safety and maintenance
- Handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain effective communication with staff and management
- Manage staff schedules and duties
- Enforce company policies and compliance with SOPs and loss prevention
- Assist in financial review and cost reduction initiatives
- Serve as role model to maintain a positive work environment
