Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR two-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time including flexible hours
  • Willingness to perform hands-on operational tasks
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze guest satisfaction data and develop improvement strategies
  • Knowledge of hospitality operations and financial performance metrics
  • Experience in employee relations and human resources activities

Job Duties

  • Assists in managing the execution of all rooms area operations including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping
  • Leads and motivates the rooms operations team to achieve guest tracking and productivity goals
  • Develops and implements action plans based on employee and guest satisfaction feedback
  • Teaches and assists with scheduling to align staffing with guest volume and occupancy goals
  • Performs hourly job functions as needed to support operations
  • Handles guest and employee concerns proactively to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Conducts interviews, assists in hiring decisions, and ensures thorough orientation of new team members
