Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Or two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial and performance reports

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing execution of all rooms area departments operations including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping
  • Monitor and improve guest and employee satisfaction and financial performance
  • Lead and motivate team with focus on empowerment, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Address employee and guest concerns proactively with professionalism and courtesy
  • Manage scheduling to meet guest and occupancy goals
  • Perform job functions hourly as needed and undertake additional duties to support business
  • Publish and review guest satisfaction results and communicate goals to staff
  • Conduct hiring interviews and assist in hiring decisions
  • Ensure thorough and timely orientation for new employees
  • Administer property policies and disciplinary procedures fairly
  • Recognize and celebrate team successes and contributions
  • Review financial data to maximize departmental profitability
  • Participate in annual quality audits with General Manager and Regional Director
  • Verify implementation of key control programs
  • Maintain compliance with brand service culture and hospitality standards
  • Respond promptly to customer service requests
  • Conduct semiannual one-to-one meetings with staff
