Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area OR Two-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Ability to lead teams and drive performance
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic financial literacy to review and interpret reports

Job Qualifications

  • OR two-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills
  • Excellent customer service ability
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and compliance
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational reports
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing staff and operational workflows

Job Duties

  • Assists in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping
  • Monitors compliance with standards and procedures
  • Leads specific team while assisting with property goals
  • Creates and nurtures a property environment emphasizing motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and service passion
  • Develops strategies to improve guest and employee satisfaction
  • Communicates goals and results with employees
  • Conducts hiring and orientation of new team members
  • Reviews financial statements and other performance data to maximize department profitability
  • Assists in performing annual quality audits
  • Responds proactively to guest and employee concerns
  • Performs hourly job functions as needed
  • Celebrates team successes and recognizes individual contributions
