Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related field
  • or associate degree with 2 years relevant experience
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • proficiency with standard office and property management software
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED with at least 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with at least 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • ability to analyze and interpret financial and performance data
  • customer service excellence
  • familiarity with hospitality industry standards and procedures

Job Duties

  • assists in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments such as Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping
  • leads specific team while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals
  • monitors compliance with standards and procedures
  • manages and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and passion for service
  • understands employee and guest satisfaction results and develops strategies to improve areas of need
  • communicates and updates all goals and results with employees regularly
  • performs hourly job functions as needed
  • assists in conducting hiring, interviewing and onboarding processes
  • responds timely to customer service department requests
  • reviews financial statements and other performance reports to maximize financial performance
  • assists in performing annual quality audits with management
  • ensures compliance with key control programs
  • meets with staff one-on-one semiannually
  • celebrates team successes and recognizes individual contributions
