Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related fields
- or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 2 years of relevant professional experience
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle guest and employee concerns professionally
- knowledge of industry standards and procedures
- ability to analyze financial reports
- proficiency in scheduling and operational planning
- availability to work full time in Hoboken, New Jersey
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- verify that goals related to guest tracking and productivity are communicated to the team
- create and nurture a motivating and empowering property environment
- understand guest and employee satisfaction results and develop improvement plans
- ensure team capabilities meet expectations
- lead by example with confidence and enthusiasm
- assist employees in exceeding guest needs and expectations
- manage operations in rooms area departments including front office, engineering/maintenance, and housekeeping
- follow property second effort and recovery plans
- publish guest satisfaction results promptly
- address employee concerns proactively
- maintain professionalism and courtesy with employees
- communicate goals and results regularly with staff
- conduct one-to-one meetings with staff semiannually
- assist with scheduling to meet guest and occupancy goals
- perform hourly job functions as needed
- respond promptly to guest concerns
- ensure team compliance with hospitality standards
- review financial and performance data to maximize departmental financial performance
- assist with annual quality audits
- manage key control program
- conduct hiring interviews and assist in staffing decisions
- ensure thorough orientation for new employees
- solicit and address employee feedback
- enforce property policies fairly
- recognize and celebrate team member contributions
- perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
