Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- OR Two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work full time with flexibility
- Customer service orientation
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service culture
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data
- Proficiency in scheduling and staff management
Job Duties
- Assist in managing operations in the rooms area departments including front office, engineering/maintenance, and housekeeping
- Strive to improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize financial performance
- Monitor compliance with standards and procedures
- Lead and motivate specific teams, communicating goals and results effectively
- Perform hourly job functions as needed and lead by example
- Manage scheduling and staffing against guest and occupancy goals
- Assist in human resources tasks including interviewing, hiring, orientation, and employee feedback
- Address guest concerns proactively and provide excellent customer service
- Review financial statements and performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure adherence to property policies and disciplinary procedures
- Celebrate team successes and recognize contributions
