Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
  • OR Two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work full time with flexibility
  • Customer service orientation
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems and software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service culture
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data
  • Proficiency in scheduling and staff management

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing operations in the rooms area departments including front office, engineering/maintenance, and housekeeping
  • Strive to improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize financial performance
  • Monitor compliance with standards and procedures
  • Lead and motivate specific teams, communicating goals and results effectively
  • Perform hourly job functions as needed and lead by example
  • Manage scheduling and staffing against guest and occupancy goals
  • Assist in human resources tasks including interviewing, hiring, orientation, and employee feedback
  • Address guest concerns proactively and provide excellent customer service
  • Review financial statements and performance data to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure adherence to property policies and disciplinary procedures
  • Celebrate team successes and recognize contributions
