Job Requirements

  • Education relevant to hospitality management
  • Prior experience in hotel or resort management
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with computer software including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial reports
  • Excellent organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, and training staff
  • Strategic thinking abilities
  • 2 to 5 years of hotel or resort experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operation of resort housekeeping and guest services departments
  • Oversee administrative, accounting, and associate development functions
  • Cover varying schedules and forecast staffing needs
  • Conduct daily unit inspections to ensure standards
  • Train staff on operational procedures and standards
  • Control payroll costs and prepare department budgets
  • Manage guest accounts, room inventory, and internal audit process
