- working knowledge of LightSpeed and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Duties
- assist the General Manager in leading departmental teams including housekeeping, valet/bellman, and front desk
- oversee departments to ensure optimal service and hospitality
- assist in preparation of forecasts and reports
- assist in budget development, implementation, and monitoring
- review financial statements, sales, and activity reports to measure productivity and goals
- monitor and maintain front office systems and equipment
- ensure a viable key control program
- provide a safe working environment complying with OSHA/MSDS
- provide leadership to hotel associates to achieve customer service goals
- focus on increasing guest satisfaction scores
- create action plans to address guest service deficiencies
- proactively resolve customer complaints and operational issues
- assist employees in understanding and exceeding guest expectations
- manage appropriate staffing levels
- assist with guest service training including service recovery and upselling
- assist with interviewing, selection, training, scheduling, coaching, and support of associates
- set clear performance expectations for managers and staff
- ensure timely completion of orientations and trainings with HR
- proactively address employee concerns
- assess employee performance and provide recognition
- assist with coaching and counseling supervisors
- maintain availability and approachability for employees
- lead by example demonstrating confidence and enthusiasm
- solicit feedback for continuous improvement
- ensure the hotel meets all quality standards including customer service and safety
- serve on the hotel's safety committee
