Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
minimum of 1 year related work experience
no supervisory experience required
ability to follow safety policies and procedures
capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds unassisted and more with assistance
ability to stand, sit, kneel or walk for extended periods
capability to work in confined spaces and on uneven surfaces
professional appearance and hygiene
effective communication skills
ability to use computers or point of sale systems for documentation
willingness to complete safety training and certifications

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent such as GED
at least 1 year of related work experience in housekeeping
ability to perform physical tasks required in housekeeping
strong attention to detail
good communication skills
ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

Enter the status of cleaned rooms in assignment sheets
complete inspection checklists to report cleanliness and condition of assigned areas
complete required housekeeping department paperwork
identify room assignments and type of cleaning required
inspect guest rooms after maids have cleaned
promptly respond to guest and department requests
enter guest rooms following access procedures and confirm vacancies before entry
