Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Attend all required meetings and trainings

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College coursework in related field helpful
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred

- Must attend all hotel required meetings and trainings

Job Duties
- Ensure employees are at all times attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees
- Inspect all rooms assigned to Room Attendants on a daily basis to ensure standards and productivity levels are met and maintained
- Notify Room Attendants of deficiencies and ensure corrections are made and re-inspected
- Ensure records of daily assignments are completed, signed off and submitted to Housekeeping Office
- Maintain key control
- Supervise Laundry employees when applicable
- Communicate with Guest Services regarding discrepant rooms and verify status
- Handle lost and found items according to standards
- Carry an active pager or radio for communication with Front Office and Engineering
- Oversee daily assignment of duties ensuring each Room and House Attendant has a work assignment
- Monitor cleanliness and orderliness of Room Attendants' carts, linen closets, control closets, stairways and landings
- Report progress on all out-of-order rooms to Guest Services Manager
- Initiate and follow through work orders for repairs and maintenance
- Oversee training of Room Attendants
- Ensure completion of regular maintenance and cleaning projects biannually
- Assist Housekeeping Management in preparation of Standard of the Week
- Monitor all VIP, special guests and requests
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
