- less than one year of related work experience
- no supervisory experience required

- ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods

Job Duties
- Assign rooms according to client requests and preferences whenever possible
- preregister selected guests and prepare key packages
- organize and coordinate arrival and check-in procedures for groups
- review, track and handle requests for room changes or departure date changes when possible
- communicate status to relevant staff
- confirm reservations and cancellations
- inspect rooms out of service daily
- ensure rates comply with market standards and document all exceptions
- verify and adjust guest billing
- file guest paperwork and documentation
- process guests check-in and check-out records
- activate room keys
- obtain valid payments
- identify overbooked rooms
- check for duplicate reservations and block rooms
- prepare daily reports
- follow up with guests to ensure requests or issues are satisfactorily resolved
- receive, record and transmit messages accurately and legibly
- adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain a neat and professional appearance
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- greet guests according to company standards, anticipate and fulfill service needs, express genuine appreciation
- assist persons with disabilities
- communicate professionally and clearly with others, prepare and review documents accurately
- handle telephone protocol properly
- coordinate tasks and work with other departments
- serve as a departmental role model or mentor
- cultivate positive relationships with others and support the team to reach shared objectives
