Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality or hotel services
- Ability to manage and supervise staff effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work varying shifts including nights
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Adherence to hotel grooming and attendance policies
- Knowledge of safety and cash handling procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or supervisory role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of hotel management software considered an asset
Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of hotel features and services, room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count, room availability, scheduled in-house group activities, locations and times, and VIP guests
- Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly
- Acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
- Resolve all guest complaints in a timely manner and ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work area(s)
- Ensure that current information on rates, packages and promotions is available at the Front Desk and that all staff is knowledgeable of such
