Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality or hotel services
  • Ability to manage and supervise staff effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Availability to work varying shifts including nights
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
  • Adherence to hotel grooming and attendance policies
  • Knowledge of safety and cash handling procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel front desk or supervisory role preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of hotel management software considered an asset

Job Duties

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
  • Maintain complete knowledge at all times of hotel features and services, room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count, room availability, scheduled in-house group activities, locations and times, and VIP guests
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly
  • Acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
  • Resolve all guest complaints in a timely manner and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work area(s)
  • Ensure that current information on rates, packages and promotions is available at the Front Desk and that all staff is knowledgeable of such
