Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of hotel experience
  • Availability to work business hours Monday through Friday with flexibility for early, late, weekend and holiday shifts
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
  • Proficient with reservation management systems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to Hilton's values and standards

Job Qualifications

  • One year of hotel experience preferably at the front desk or in reservations
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation management system OnQ and/or Delphi FDC is advantageous
  • Strong clerical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication abilities both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work professionally with clients and team members
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of event planning and hotel operations
  • Customer-focused with adaptability and dependability
  • Familiarity with MS Office and booking software

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Communicate timely with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • Handle phone calls, emails and greet clients for Catering and Events professionally
  • Process group reservation information including rooming lists, suites, resumes and billing requirements
  • Communicate and verify information between Meeting Planners, Housing Bureaus, Meetings and Conventions, and Front Office
  • Process reservation request calls and assist internal and external customers
  • Coordinate and implement department activities and projects
  • Provide clerical support and assistance to management including special projects
  • Input programs in booking systems, manage VIP guest arrangements, and coordinate site visits
  • Create and communicate documents such as BEOs, group resumes, post event reports, menus, diagrams and floor plans
  • Work with affiliate groups
  • Assist clients and deliver on their expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues to determine the best solutions
  • Ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
