Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one year hotel experience at front desk or reservations
- availability to work business hours Monday through Friday with flexibility for early/late shifts and weekends
- basic computer skills
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- professional demeanor and customer service orientation
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- familiarity with reservation systems OnQ or Delphi FDC preferred
Job Qualifications
- one year of hotel experience in front desk or reservations
- knowledge of hotel reservation management system OnQ and/or Delphi FDC is advantageous
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- professionalism in client interactions
- proficiency with booking systems and document preparation
- problem-solving skills
- ability to work flexible hours including some weekends and holidays
- strong organizational skills

Job Duties
- organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- communicate timely to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
- handle phone calls, emails and greet clients for Catering and Events professionally and courteously
- process group reservation information including rooming lists, suites, resumes and billing requirements
- communicate and verify information between Meeting Planners, Housing Bureaus, Meetings and Conventions and Front Office
- process reservation request calls as appropriate and assist internal and external customers
- coordinate and implement department activities and projects
- provide clerical support and assistance to management on special projects
- input programs in booking systems, manage VIP guest arrangements and coordinate site visits
- create and communicate documents including BEOs, group resumes, post event reports, menus, and floor plans
- work with affiliate groups and assist with clients to meet their expectations
- demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes
- make decisions and solve problems by analyzing issues and determining best solutions
- ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs
- participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales process as necessary
- perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
