Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- must be able to read and communicate effectively with patients
- ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, speak and hear
- lifting limited to 35 lbs for clinical staff and 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
- able to use assisted-lift device or get assistance for lifting over limits
- availability for full-time shifts including rotating weekends

Job Duties
- Deliver room service meals to patients and snacks as ordered
- ensure timely and efficient delivery of patient meals within 45 minutes of order placement
- assist patients by setting up room service trays within reach
- properly identify patients using two identifiers prior to tray delivery per policy
- communicate effectively with Call Center and Room Service Shift Supervisor to report patient needs, complaints and tray errors
- assist patients with special needs by providing bedside ordering assistance
- collect payment for guest trays and deliver money to cashier per policy
- maintain cleanliness and par stock levels in patient nourishment and waiting areas
- collect dirty trays and coordinate exchanges for clean carts with Dish Room Attendant
