Job Duties
- Take room service telephone orders
- respond to menu selection questions and confirm orders with kitchen staff
- answer guest inquiries regarding wine origin, harvest, and styles
- locate and log callbacks for room service orders
- notify guests and management of service delays
- communicate extra food orders, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to kitchen
- maintain cleanliness of work areas
- record transactions in MICROS system at the time of order
- complete closing reports including MICROS reports
- process all payment methods
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
- participate in safety training and obtain certifications
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- anticipate and meet service needs
- assist disabled persons
- thank guests sincerely
- communicate clearly and professionally
- answer telephones according to protocol
- foster and maintain positive working relationships
- support team to achieve common goals
- ensure compliance with quality standards
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
