Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- one year of experience in a food service department preferred
- must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- demonstrate job competency after on-the-job training and written tests
- ability to lift 30lbs
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to bend, stoop, and twist frequently
- visual and hearing acuity to read menu and hear responses
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one year of experience in a food service department preferred
- ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- demonstrate job competency following on-the-job training and written tests
- skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and basic computer operations
- good physical condition to lift 30lbs and stand or walk for long periods
- visual and hearing acuity to communicate effectively
Job Duties
- Assist patients with appropriate food selections in accordance with diet prescription
- communicate the menu to patients
- prepare late trays for assigned patients
- work in partnership with other team members
- provide customer focused care to the patients served
- follow food safety and hygiene practices
- maintain cleanliness of dining and food delivery areas
